Picture Jasper gets its name from the look, and specially the patterns on it. The patterns can resemble landscapes, maountains, deserts and other natural scenes. It is a smooth and beautiful stone and quite unique compared to what you usually find in Iceland. It usually has the earth tones in colors.

This one was picked up near to the Glacier lagoon.
