005 Baggalútur – 10 grams

Mixture of quartz og hematite. Found nowhere else than in Iceland. Those stones are said to help people with blood flow and specially pregnant women should carry them for increased health for their unborn baby. When polished they are dark brown and shiny but when unpolished they change colour if you hold them in you hand. They can be found in two places in Iceland. This one was found in Hvalfjörður.

This one was polished in a tumbler for 6 weeks, but they are very tough and have unique shapes.
